Module 2 – Los Angeles

Module 2 of the 2022 Inside Pictures programme kicked off this week in Los Angeles. The programme and the team return in person to deliver sessions that continue to enhance understanding of the global business of film and TV development. For the first time, participants will join Amazon executives Tim Clawson, Laura Lancaster, Sam Semon and Jon Wax at their studios in Culver City. New speakers also include Erik Barmack (Wild Sheep Content), David Levine (Anonymous Content) & Vanessa Roman (Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP). Participants will visit WME, Paramount Pictures, Disney and Searchlight Pictures, ending the week at AGC Studios with returning speakers Stuart Ford, Bonnie Voland and Lourdez Diaz.

Popular panel sessions with managers and indie producers return, as well as veterans of the programme Rich Delia (Rich Delia Casting), Ann Johnson (The Littlefield Co), Craig Emanuel & Susan Williams (Paul Hastings LLP).

Participants opened the module by pitching their initial ideas for the ‘collaboration work’ element of the programme, these ideas continue to evolve right up until the pitches in Module 4 in January 2023. They also had a moment to connect with some of the 2021 cohort who are in town to conduct their own set of meetings this week.

The participants will return to London in November to delve into their own professional and personal development in Module 3.
