Module 1 of IP 2021 kicks off!

This week sees the 18th edition of Inside Pictures kick-off in earnest. This year’s 20 participants, who come from 11 different countries, begin their 9-month journey on the programme which gives them access to high-powered film and TV industry executives.

As the pandemic continues to affect many, this year’s programme is taking the same format as last year in order to guarantee delivery, with the first two modules of this year’s programme being delivered via Zoom, and the final two workshops aiming to be in person.

This week-long module provides insights to film finance, international and domestic sales and distribution, acquisitions, co-production, the TV landscape, digital aggregation, distribution and exhibition.  Returning speakers and alumni are the cornerstones of the programme and include Susan Wendt of Trust Nordisk on The Business of International Sales, Christos Michaels & Reno Antoniades from Lee & Thompson on Business Affairs with Studios & Streamers and Financial Closing, Lorenzo Gangarossa from Wildside on High End TV, and Leontine Petit of Lemming Film on Collaborating in European Coproduction.

We’re also delighted that Andy Mayson of Altitude has come on board as Lead Finance Trainer, and will be supporting the participants through the financial side of their project work through the year, which will see them paired to work on 10 projects that they will present to a panel of top executives at the culmination of the programme in January 2022.
