Inside Pictures 2015 – From Europe to Hollywood

[fusion_text]NFTSInside Pictures, the leading film industry business training and leadership skills development programme, launches its 2015 programme on 5 February 2015. The programme is supported by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union and Creative Skillset’s Film Skills Fund.

This top level and highly regarded programme is for 20 ambitious executives and producers who want to lead the EU film industry into the digital future. Comprised of three intensive one-week modules and a tailored project, Inside Pictures takes place in London and Los Angeles between June 2015 and January 2016.

The focus of the programme will be to develop the cutting edge industry business knowledge, management skills, profile and cross-industry contact network needed for leaders from across the industry to thrive in the global business of film. Seminars, workshops, studio visits and events will cover all aspects of the international film business – from development through production, financing, worldwide distribution, marketing and exhibition and the latest digital developments.

This year marks the 12th edition of the Inside Pictures programme, and the fifth year it is delivered by the NFTS, the UK’s national centre of excellence for postgraduate education.

The successful applicants will be executives from across the value chain, who display determination to succeed. They will have at least eight years’ experience in film or an associated creative industry, such as television. Applications can be made online at inside-pictures.com. Creative Europe

Creative Europe is the European Commission’s support programme for the cultural, creative and audiovisual sectors. From 2014-2020, €1.46 billion is available to support European projects with the potential to travel, to reach new audiences and to encourage skill sharing and development.

Launched in January 2014, Creative Europe brings together a Culture sub-programme, which provides funding for the cultural and creative sectors, and a MEDIA sub-programme, which invests in film, television, new media and games.

Creative Skillset

Creative Skillset’s Film Skills Fund, as part of its film skills strategy, is funded by the National Lottery via the BFI and through the Skills Investment Fund, which comprises industry and government co-investment.
