Lee & Thompson LLP is one of the UK’s leading law firms for the media, technology and creative industries. Founded in 1983, it has the largest team of specialist Film and TV lawyers in the UK, with 25 lawyers offering expertise at every stage of the process from development, financing and production, through to worldwide exploitation on multiple platforms.
Lee & Thompson is a long term and committed supporter of Inside Pictures. It has previously hosted two of the London modules at its offices, giving our participants and speakers a fantastic Central London base during their time on the programme. In 2017, Lee & Thompson continued its generous venue support and hosted Module 1 in June.
Lee & Thompson also offers invaluable support throughout the Inside Pictures programme. The firm works with the Inside Pictures team to review applications and assist in the selection of the participants; ensuring that each year’s group is as impressive as the last. It has also previously hosted our alumni receptions, giving the former participants a fantastic opportunity to connect with each other and forge new creative partnerships. The firm also kindly hosted and took part in our 2016 alumni consultation.
Managing Partner Reno Antoniades is widely acknowledged as one of the leading film and content lawyers in the UK, and Christos Michaels, Head of the firm’s Film Group, are both personally amazing supporters of Inside Pictures. Both never fail to attend our networking events in Berlin, Cannes and London, bringing along colleagues and contacts that our participants then have the chance to connect with. Reno also kindly speaks during Module 1 each year, and champions the work of the organisation:
