2016 Participants Announced

Inside Pictures have announced the participants selected for its 2016 programme. The successful group were chosen from more than one hundred high-calibre applications from industry subsectors including acquisitions, development, production, sales, distribution, finance, digital, talent management, marketing, legal and business affairs. This year’s cohort is comprised of 20 participants who come from Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands, The Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Spain and the UK. They are:

AC head shot smThe 2016 Inside Pictures Industry Ambassador is Andrew Cripps, President, International at IMAX. A highly regarded figure in the industry and a frequent speaker at Inside Pictures, Cripps will champion the course and be present at key stages throughout the programme. He will welcome participants at the start of their journey, meet with them during the programme and send them on their way as they graduate at the end of the course. He says: “I am delighted to continue to support Inside Pictures because I believe it is a terrific programme which provides amazing insight into the world of film, especially the burgeoning international marketplace.”

Inside Pictures is run by the National Film and Television School, one of the world’s leading film schools. The programme is supported by Creative Europe and Creative Skillset’s Film Skills Fund, which is funded directly by the National Lottery via the BFI.

A new journey begins…

On Sunday evening, the Inside Pictures 20 participants met for the first time for icebreaker drinks at the Everyman Cinema in Kings Cross, London. They are set to embark on a week-long journey, not only to get to know one another but also to engage with sessions covering the entire
